Comments on: Call to Action: NDP Makes Historical Statement On Sikh Genocide Sat, 14 Sep 2013 16:18:09 +0000 hourly 1 By: Yollz Yollz Mon, 03 Dec 2012 23:03:03 +0000 I was surfing the web and came acorss this news article that further illustrates the double standard of Indian Government and that of its opposition as well. On one hand they claim to be democratic and secular and at the same time they want people of other beliefs (non Hindus) to sing the praises of some deity (here Mother India) in the name of patriotism I just thought that readers might be interested in reading this news article.Chardi Kala . ]]> By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Sat, 26 Nov 2011 23:30:15 +0000 DK people like you have commented so many times on this blog that it is getting quite boring to reply to the same old rhetoric. Your comparing genocide and the acts of a few individuals (and btw thousands of Hindus killed? Your just exaggerating)

AND indira gandhi wanted to make this into a hindu-sikh issue, which is what she achieved because hindus can easily believe any propaganda then still cry about it many years later…also, when hindus died, the state responded by killing sikhs and giving the hindu family money and protection, as well as recognition and front page news

i am sure sikhs in india will feel more welcomes when the MAJORITY hindu admit to being hegemonic and oppressive, especially the brahmins, who think they are morally superior than “other” indians. this is the ideology of the hindutva.

By: DK DK Fri, 25 Nov 2011 04:53:06 +0000 I am sure India’s hindu majority would be happy to acknowledge the genocide when “Sikh activists” acknowledge the cold blooded murder of thousands of hindus and sikhs by sikh terrorists in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Wake up to reality, listen to both sides, and if you really are this passionate about his, GO TO INDIA and fight for your “state”

By: J.S.Dhaliwal J.S.Dhaliwal Fri, 18 Nov 2011 01:22:05 +0000 Thank you SO much NDP ]]> By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Tue, 15 Nov 2011 17:39:09 +0000 ]]> By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Mon, 14 Nov 2011 19:46:36 +0000 also, many youth are afraid to even speak out against the genocide, there are thousands of “Sikh” youth here in Canada, so far this has over 300 likes on Facebook, i want to see this number increase to over 1000 because this is a very serious issue so people please help spread the word, create awareness, start becoming smart and use the media as a tool because the indian government is already doing this, one day when i have time i will go over all the crap they are creating on youtube and the ANI news channel network that continues to spread propaganda

yes you “bastards” probably think a lot of people don’t notice but MISS KAUR can read your minds you stupid losers from india

a couple of days ago some hindutva fatso tried to take take off a sikh mans turban who was being escorted by several police officers, not only did the security fail to protect him, but the media quickly started telling lies that the SIKH WAS SLAPPED when clearly the sikh man slapped the fat hindutva supporter, so even when evidence is in front of your eyes, the indian media lies and twists stories as if we’re all some 4-year-old kids who would believe anything they say or show on TV

By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Mon, 14 Nov 2011 19:39:17 +0000 i forgot to mention the many hundreds and perhaps thousands of FAKE GURUS in Punjab..including one of the biggest cults, the radhaswami…they have built huge complexes and are beginning to gain control over institutions such as hospitals, and you want to know something interesting? when people get admitted to the hospital, they FAVOUR radhaswamis and give them “better” care, what kind of a hospital is that. the land where sikhs originate from is the land where they face the most discrimination ]]> By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Mon, 14 Nov 2011 19:36:12 +0000 Sikh Achievers….I agree with you…

the biggest issue is the Indian Government and the Hindu majority’s DENIAL OF discrimination, DENIAL of the truth. For Sikhs, the Sikh Nation and the Religion, no one cares about “US,” the situation in Punjab is so horrible that ordinary Punjabis do not want to discuss the truth, the real history, the pain and suffering. Many of them have become “nationalized” or “Indianized.” For the victims, the pain will never go away especially when you live in a very barbaric, undemocratic, corrupt, Upper-Caste Hindu Hegemonic country like INDIA. At lease here in Canada we reflect on what happened, do you know what BJP controlled BADAL and HIS RAT OF A SON did? They celebrated on the Sikh genocide day, they had a kabadi tournament plus invited half-naked girls and sharukh khan to dance and entertain the masses. This is the BS real SIKHS have to put up with everyday in INDIA, what a nice slap in the face, they try to bring us down psychologically, in the 80s and 90s, most suffering was physical and psychological, now their mostly concentrated on changing our minds, making us weaker, and letting drugs freely flow in Punjab, they are redefining what it means to be punjabi, sikh, etc.

and when I say CORRUPTION, I MEAN EXTREME CORRUPTION LIKE THE GOVENMENT KILLING 20 000 SIKHS and never getting punished. Well who polices the police? Who governs the government? When you are attacked by the STATE it is very difficult to obtain justice. If we don’t talk about it then who would? At least Sikhs for Justice is taking legal actions about KAMAL NATH AND AMITABH BACHAN, the two evil men who have gotten away in this barbaric country called India

By: Sikh Achievers Sikh Achievers Mon, 14 Nov 2011 14:16:01 +0000 1984!! Every year, this topic become hot during end of october and first week of november and we talk and talk about what happend during 1984 and how the culprits are stil roaming free. But then, it finishes just there and only to be taken up the next year in very much the say mechanical way. ]]> By: MISS KAUR MISS KAUR Sun, 06 Nov 2011 19:55:05 +0000 the younger punjabis are the ones who need the most education because i have seen so many international students in toronto and brampton and no offense, but they seem really dumb and “indianized” and what i mean by that is that all they know is cricket, bollywood, hindi songs, crappy bhangra songs, how to be corny, etc. etc.,

Where are the smart kids?

Where are the kids who know something about their history?

where are the kids who can actually read and write in punjabi and speak punjabi in a proper way not mixed with so many english words?

where are the kids who are not only smart in punjabi, but understand the western world, who understand what a democracy really is, who understand world history, who understand colonialism?

i am afraid the people of india have been dumbed down to the max, at least here in Canada we have alternative media and can always use the internet to see different sides of a story, in india, people are still far behind
